During the elimination process, all six candidates: Karen, Alexis, Uni5, Esma, Miss Fitz and Josh performed songs written by Mike Stock including "Wouldn't Change A Thing", "Last Thing On My Mind" and "Better The Devil You Know".  The three candidates: Alexis who sang "Never Gonna Give You Up", Esma who sang "This Time I Know It's For Real" and Josh who sang "Too Many Broken Hearts" reached the final stage.  Each of them performed "That Sounds Good To Me", after which the final decision was made by telephone vote.  Josh impressed the public most with his performance and he will be representing the UK with "That Sounds Good To Me", the UK entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.

Eurovision Song Contest 2010

Mike Stock is collaborating with Pete Waterman on the UK entry to the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.  The first opportunity for you to hear the UK entry to the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest will be on "Your Country Needs You".  The candidate singers will be revealed when "Your Country Needs You" is broadcast by the BBC on 12 March 2010.  During the programme a panel of judges will select the final three, from six singers.  Then the viewing audience will decide who of the final three singers gives the best live performance and will represent the UK in Oslo.
