Favourite Mike Stock artist: None! It's the songs I love, does not matter who sings them.

Other music tastes: I’m stuck in the 80s for sure. Anything from 84-89. Bryan Adams, George Michael, Paloma Faith, The Beatles but again if it's a good song I will love it no matter the artist.

Why Mike Stock Music?

Jeez! I don't even know where to begin! It is my passion, my obsession and (like many others state) the soundtrack to my life. I got in at the very beginning, buying the Divine, Hazell Dean and Girl Talk records in 1984 and then making the connection to the names on the back of the sleeves. From then on I made sure to seek out every release from them. It was the 87/88/89 years that cemented it for me, those pure pop halcyon days when I was just the right age to have the money to buy everything and to be able to go to the clubs and dance to them every weekend. Great, great days. In the early 1990's I wrote to PWL for permission to set up a SAW fan club and Mike Stock wrote back saying yes and agreeing to be interviewed for the first issue of Roadblock. For the next few years I published 5 issues of the fanzine and set up the first Mike Stock website. I had so much fun meeting some great characters, working with my musical heroes and all with the music I adored. I am now very fortunate to work for Mike setting up and running his official websites and all social media platforms. It is amazing to get a unique insight, not only to the business, but to the man himself who has been nothing but a positive influence on my life for the last 35 years.
