Mike Stock became a household name under the banner Stock Aitken Waterman in the 1980s and is the UK's most successful songwriter and music producer and the winner of many prestigious and international awards.

 

Amongst Mike Stock's nine Ivor Novello awards are three for Songwriter of the Year, awarded in successive years, a unique achievement. Mike Stock wrote his first song at the age of seven, later he became the Stock in Stock Aitken Waterman - the production team responsible for over 100 UK hits and countless Top 40s during the 1980s.  

 

Artists from Sir Paul McCartney to Kylie Minogue, Sir Cliff Richard to Bananarama and Robson and Jerome to The Fast Food Rockers have all enjoyed success and achievement in collaboration with Mike Stock.
