Mike Stock became a household name under the banner Stock Aitken Waterman in the 1980s, widely recognised as the UK's most successful songwriters & producers - and the winners of many prestigious and international awards.

 

Amongst Mike Stock's nine Ivor Novello awards for song writing are three for Songwriter of the Year, awarded in successive years - a unique achievement. Mike Stock wrote his first song at the age of seven and signed his first publishing deal at nineteen. Later he became the 'Stock' in Stock Aitken Waterman - the production team responsible for over 100 UK hits and countless Top 40s during the 1980s and 90s.  

 

Artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Sir Cliff Richard, Bananarama, Robson & Jerome and The Fast Food Rockers have all enjoyed huge success and achievement in collaboration with Mike Stock.
