Mike Stock became a household name under the banner Stock Aitken Waterman in the 1980s and is the most successful songwriter and music producer of all time and the winner of many prestigious and international awards. Amongst Mike Stock's eight Ivor Novellos for song writing are three for Songwriter of the Year, awarded in successive years, a unique achievement. Mike Stock wrote his first song at the age of seven. Later he became the Stock in Stock Aitken Waterman.
